In mahogany box.
A dissecting microscope on a circular brass foot with a round pillar. On the foot the concave mirror in a bracket. On the pillar the square stage with a large circular aperture in which a (now missing) glass disc can be inserted. There are two spring clips. The height of the achromatic magnifier can be adjusted by rackwork acting on a square rod which slides into the round pillar, there are two magnifiers, with biconvex lenses.
