This image of Reichert’s headquarters belonged to Mr A.H. Nieuwenhuijs (Utrecht 1932-2021) and has been donated by his heirs to our Foundation.
As an employee of Laméris instruments from 1952 to 1984, Mr A.H. Nieuwenhuijs was responsible for the purchase and sale of, among other things, microscopes and microtomes. In this position, a close collaboration developed with the Reichert company in Vienna, which forwarded this business gift to Mr. Nieuwenhuijs as a token of appreciation and now gives us a glimpse into the past.
