Koen Quint MD, PhD has been the Secretary of the Foundation since 2012. In daily life, Koen is a dermatologist at the Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC). One of his main interest is in dermatopathology. Koen is very interested in examining tissue sections with historical microscopes, thereby experiencing how microscopists made their diagnoses in the past. For the Foundation, Koen is responsible for the acquisition and investigation of new collection items. Because of his enthusiasm, the collection has been expanded by over 400 items.
