Nikon-manufactured film transport unit, for 35 mm film (24 × 36 mm roll film) part of a microscope camera system. Equipped with a mount for Zeiss microscopes, see e.g. SM 249, Zeiss Axioskop.
The film unit has a connection for motor transport, but the film can also be transported manually.
A shutter unit with viewing eyepiece belongs between this film unit and the microscope.
