Fodor/FOKA
in 1924, Isaac Albers founded a photographic company under the name Foto Optiek Kino Albers (FOKA) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. FOKA was widely well-known because of the high quality of its products.
In the 1950s, the Albers family founded another company, FODOR, for the import of foreign products, especially from Japan. Special student microscopes were imported and marketed under this brand. Fodor closed in 2000 and another company, Klein Fotografie, took over FOKA.
