The resistor switch is an element for a resistance bank or compensator. By adjusting the variable resistance the bridge can be balanced and the resistance or voltage measurement can take place. Bleeker’s Wheatstone and Thomson bridges and the Diesselhorst compensators are instruments of very high accuracy and durability. The very high quality of these instruments is achieved, among other things, by the use of these specially developed switches. The special construction of these switches guarantees a low and constant resistance of the contacts.
