This is a simple student microscope, on a cast iron horseshoe type foot with a short pillar. The limb can be inclined over 90 degrees between trunnions. There is a square stage with spring clips, below the stage a diaphragm stop. Below the stage on a swing the mirror in a bracket. Coarse adjustment is by means of rack and pinion. Fine adjustment acts on the block between the limb and the body tube. The brass body tube has a sliding tube and a triple objective changer, with its three objectives.
