The microscope goes with a wooden box with lift-out tray, the lid is lined with red velvet.
The pillar of the microscope screws in a brass boss on the lid of the box. A concave mirror in bracket pins into the pillar. The stage is connected to a bracket which can be moved by rackwork for focussing. On top of the pillar a simple limb, in which the body tube with its demountable eyepiece can be screwed. The objectives can be fitted below the limb.
There are three single lens objectives and an empty lens holder.
The optical system has not been investigated.
Accessories: a white and black bone disc for use with incident light.
