With this microscope goes a pyramidal mahogany box with a lock and a brass handle.
The microscope itself is mounted on a mahogany box with fitted drawer for accessories. The microscope is of the usual construction, it is mounted on three scrolled legs with a round stage in the middle. The body tube can be moved up and down in a brass outer tube, the lower part of the body, the snout, has a smaller diameter, the top part with the eyepiece has a much larger diameter.
There are four single objective lenses, marked 1, 2, 4 and 5 and a Lieberkühn which can be fitted over the snout. The lenses have not been investigated.
Accessories are a fishplate, a Bonanni type stage, tweezers, a diaphragm cone, three specimen holders (two made of bone and one made of horn), a watch-glass and a bull’s eye condenser which can be fitted on the stage.
