The microscope is stored in a wooden box together with 6 object slides and a pair of tweezers. In the lid a label printed in German with its directions for use.
The microscope itself is a brass cylinder with a pair of slits for an object slide. The slide is fixed by means of a sleeve and a spring. For viewing the objects a simple magnifier is used, this can slide in the outer tube for focussing.
