Arend Juriaan Schokking Jr (1837-1903) and Jan Arend Jurriaan Schokking (1829-1890)
The Amsterdam instrument maker Arend Jurriaan Schokking Sr (1800-1869) was succeeded by his sons Arend Juriaan Schokking Jr and Jan Arend Jurriaan Schokking, and in 1862, the two brothers established Gebroeders Schokking in Amsterdam. The company did not last a year. A.J. Schokking subsequently set up his own instrument-making business. Their last advertisement appeared 1929.
